Eligibility for the Indain army rally
Education
soldier General duty
candidate must qualify 10th standard with scoring 45% and 33% in each subject.
Soldier Clerk/storekeeper
Candidate should have 12th pass with overall 60% and 50% in each subject. English and Maths are compulsory.
Soldier Tradesman
candidate are eligible if they are 10th or 8th pass
Sepoy Pharma
10+2 pass + 55% marks scored in the D pharma from recognized university.
Age limit for the indian army recruitment
The age limit for the general duty is 17.5 to 21 years (01 Oct 2000 to 01 Aprl 2004)
The age limit for Sol Clerk and tradesman is 17.5 to 23 years (01 Oct 1998 to 01 Apr 2004)
The age limit for the sepoy pharma is 19 to 25 years (01 Oct 1996 to 30 Sept 2002)
Height required for the selection in the indian army
The general height for the all category is 163 cm except for CLK which is 162 cm. Goorkha and the tribals will get relaxation up to 157 and 162 cm respectively,
Chest required
77+5 cm
Relaxation
relaxation is available for the candidate who belongs to the category of SOS or Sportsman
Selection process of Indian army
The selection process will undergo three steps
physical test
In this test, candidates have to run up to 1.6 km, complete 10 pull-ups, 9 feet ditch and run on the strip from the height
Medical
candidates will be called for medical on the rally site. here candidates will be screened for fulfilling the medical criteria.
Written test
the test will be different for the different categories. so read the syllabus and the details of the cut off carefully.
