SSC GD Mega recruitment 2021

 SSC GD RECRUITMENT FOR THE CAPF, NIA, SSF and ASSAM RIFLES 

Big news for the defence aspirants, new mega Bharti released by the SSC in various trades, the recruitment is for the total 25271 posts. Information about the recruitment is given below. 

Who can apply 

Male and Female candidates who belong to any state of India are eligible for the recruitment.

Payscale 

The pay level for males and females is the same which is from 21700 to 69100/-.

Eligibility 

Education 

candidate should have 10th pass for this recruitment. 

Age limit 

18 to 23 years 

02 August 1998 to 01 August 2003

Height 

male 170 cm 

female 157 cm 

Chest 

male 80+5 cm 

special relaxation is applicable for the candidate who belongs to the SC/ST and OBC category. 

Relaxation 

The relaxation for the SC/ST candidates five years 

The relaxation for the OBC candidates is three years 

The relaxation for the Ex-serviceman is three years 

Candidates whose father/mother was killed in the 1984  riots will get five, eight and 10 years relaxation for unreserved, OBC and SC/ST respectively. 

A candidate who has NCC C certificate will get 5%, 3% and 2% for C, B and A certificates respectively. 

How to apply 

Candidates have to apply the application form through online mode, visit the official site ssc.nic.in, click on apply button then select gd notice and fill the application form as the format as shown correctly.

Application Fee 

The application fee for the general candidates is 100/-. 

There will be no fee for the female, SC/ST and ESM. 


 Selection procedure 

The selection procedure will undergo the three major steps 

Computer-based examination 

Candidates can attend the exam in medium Hindi as well as English. 

The marks for the examination is 100 while the questions are 100. There will be a negative marks system for the 0.25 marks deduction for each wrong answer.

General intelligence:

In this part, candidates have to solve the iq questions such as figure observation, number chains, memory skills, mirror images, relations questions and many more. 

General Knowledge and General Awareness: 

This part includes general knowledge such as current affairs, historical events, politics, economy, constitution, first in the history, Indian culture and states. 

Elementary Mathematics:

It consists of questions from the number systems, ratio and proportion, time and work, interest, profit and loss, arithmetic operations, percentage, fractions and relationship between numbers, decimals, etc. 

English/ Hindi: 

This test will be for the checking understanding skills of candidates whether in Hindi and English. 

Physical test 

In this test, officials will check out the physical requirements such as height weight and test a race.

Male candidates have to run five-kilometre in 24 minutes and 1.6 km in 6.30 minutes 

Female candidates have to run 1.6 km in 8:30 minutes and 800 meters in 4 minutes. 

Medical 

Candidates who qualify for the PET test will be called for medical. 

Document verification 

The final stage for the selection is documents verification.
