Education
i. 10th pass
ii. Musical experience certificate from any recognized musical Institute or organization of repute.
iii. candidate should proficient in the complete song, pitch and tempo. Candidate should have also knowledge or skill of Keyboard, string, wind or any instruments.
Instruments skills
Jazz drums set, Bass drums, snare drums, side drums, cymbals, non-chromatic instruments such as bugle and monotone instruments, keyboard instruments, string and wind instruments.

The selection procedure will undergo in only three steps.
Shortlisting
A total of 300 candidates will be called for the examination.
Skill test
The expected time for the examination is October month.
Physical fitness test
In this test, candidates have to run 1.6 km
complete 22 Uthak Baithak.
and 10 Push-ups.
Medical
this will be organised by the authorised military doctors. The officials will check the required criteria for the Indian navy recruitment like Height, weight and other medical requirements.
Tattoos are permitted on only the inner and outer faces of forearms. (between elbow and wrist).
Merit list
The merit list will be based on the performance presented at the time of the skill test and Physical test.
The merit list will depend on the performance of the singing and physical test.

Candidates have to apply online mode. The fee for the online submission is 60+ including GST. Candidates are not able to submit more than one application. It occurs when the candidate is able to attend the navy job for sailors.
